This is getting completely ridiculous. Not to mention how jealous I am of Joe, who I wager was there again tonight. Only 8 days to Columbia. Can I pay Jack to come too?

Jack White adds some nice variation to the setlists :gimme:

Hopefully we will hear more of that rare stuff during the tour.

But I'm richer by far with a satisfied mind ...

Thanks tbc for the dates! I was in hurry so I couldn't check it out at bobdylan.com...

After checking the distances I'm very suspicious about Albany now. Seems it's just a 2-3 hour ride from Manhattan on public transport so it's not that tiresome... Also it would be great to hear from someone who has been at Times Union Center for some enlightment smiling smiley

I have a couple of questions, Buda:

Have you travelled much in the US?

Will you be staying with or know some New Yorkers?

Public transportation in the US isn't as easy (or as cheap) as in Europe, athough the East Coast has a denser population, so they have a system more like what you are used to.

Anyway, I found a link that looks like it may help you, so you can do some homework before you leave:

I want you to enjoy your vacation, and I hope you do get to see Bob! Was it planned that you would happen to be in NY at the same time he's playing, or were you just hoping to get your visa in time?

Actually I'm going to New York, Manhattan to surprise my girlfriend and then fly together back home on Oct 9. Of course it would be a thrill to see Bob in New York, so it just came by accident - and I already missed 4 chances now to take my financee with me to one so It would be magnificent for me anyhow...

No I don't know a soul from New York. I think I will just get drunk most of the time if I will be a loner (drink)

Well, by transportation I think I will easily get on with the Metro. With google earth I searched through the whole city where what metro stops can be found so now I know which Alphabets I should choose to get from here to there. It would be also great to meet some dylaners from here but seems to be most of us are goddamn europeans grinning smiley

Either way, thanks Apr24 for the link! I will surely check it out..

EDIT: Oh, and no, this is my first time going to US.

Thanks apr for the video! I love how Recile plays the tune... White is a bit more emphasizing the lyrics than it should be but great to see this happening...
